Adobe — building with sun-dried mud brick — is hands-on, patient work, and one of the most satisfying things I do. There is something grounding about making a material from the earth beneath your feet and watching a wall rise from it.
I work on making and laying mud bricks, rendering, and the restoration of earthen structures. It is craft as much as construction: every site has its own soil, its own climate, and its own rhythm to learn.
